“We”, “us” and “our” mean ADMOX. “You” means the person or organisation that holds the licence key. “Pixseer” or “the software” means the Pixseer application for macOS, Windows and Linux, its updates, and its documentation.
Please read section 9 (what you can expect from the software) and section 10 (our liability) carefully. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing in this agreement takes away rights you have by law. Section 12 explains that.
1. What this agreement covers, and what it does not
1.1 This agreement is the licence for the software. It governs your right to install and use Pixseer.
1.2 It is not the purchase contract. Pixseer is sold through our store on Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record. That means you buy from Lemon Squeezy as an authorised reseller, and your purchase contract, payment, invoice and tax are between you and Lemon Squeezy. The software itself is licensed to you by us, under this agreement. Refunds are covered by our refund policy and by Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms.
1.3 Data handling is covered by our privacy policy. Open source components are covered by our third-party notices, a shortened form of which is shown in Pixseer under About, Open-source licenses.
1.4 You accept this agreement by activating or using the software. If you do not accept it, do not activate the software, and ask for a refund under section 8.
2. Licence grant
2.1 We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and run Pixseer on supported macOS, Windows or Linux computers that you own or control.
2.2 How many computers. Your licence key may be activated on up to three (3) computers in total at a time, across any combination of supported platforms. You can free a slot at any time in Pixseer under Settings, License, Deactivate, and then activate a different computer. The limit is enforced by our licensing provider when you activate.
2.3 One person per licence. A licence is for one individual. If several people need to use Pixseer, each person needs their own licence, even if they share a computer. If you buy for a team, buy one licence per person.
2.4 The software is licensed, not sold. You own the copy of the files and the media you create with Pixseer. You do not own Pixseer itself.
2.5 Platform. This licence covers Pixseer for macOS, Windows and Linux with the current installer requirements shown on the download page. One licence covers your installs across all supported platforms, within the activation limit. If we release Pixseer for a further operating system, that release is covered too unless we say otherwise in writing at the time.
3. What you may do
3.1 Install and run Pixseer for any purpose, personal or commercial, within the activation limit in section 2.2.
3.2 Keep reasonable backup copies of the installer and of the application files.
3.3 Use anything Pixseer produces for you (exported files, tag lists, prompt text, reports) however you like. We claim no rights in your output.
4. What you may not do
You may not, and may not let anyone else:
- 4.1 sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, publish or share the software or your licence key, or use one key to serve multiple people or a hosted service;
- 4.2 work around, disable, patch or interfere with licence activation, the update signature check, or any other security mechanism;
- 4.3 reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except where that restriction is void under applicable law, including the interoperability and error-correction rights that EU law gives you;
- 4.4 remove or obscure copyright, trademark or authorship notices;
- 4.5 use Pixseer to process content you have no right to process, or in a way that breaks the law that applies to you; or
- 4.6 use Pixseer to breach the terms of a third-party service it connects to, for example by scraping a site in a way that site forbids, or by using an AI provider against that provider’s rules.
5. Licence keys and activation
5.1 The desktop app requires an activated licence key to run. The website’s limited browser preview is separate and does not activate or provide a trial of the installed app.
5.2 When you activate, the app sends your licence key and a device label to our licensing provider (Lemon Squeezy). The device label is your operating-system user name and computer name, in the form user@hostname, so that you can tell your activations apart when you manage them. See the privacy policy for detail.
5.3 Pixseer works offline once activated. The app re-checks your key with the licensing provider in the background when it starts. If that check cannot reach the network, or the provider is down, nothing happens and you keep working. The app only locks if the provider explicitly reports the key as invalid, disabled or expired.
5.4 We may disable a licence key that has been refunded, charged back, or used in breach of section 4. Where we do that for a breach, and the circumstances allow it, we will contact you first.
5.5 If you lose your key, Lemon Squeezy re-sends it from your order email, or write to support@pixseer.app.
6. Updates
6.1 All 1.x updates are included in your purchase, at no extra cost. That covers bug fixes, security fixes and new features released under a version number starting with 1.
6.2 A future major version (2.0 and later) may be a paid upgrade. If we charge for it, we will say so before you buy it, and your existing 1.x licence keeps working on the 1.x versions you already have.
6.3 We are not obliged to release any particular update, to add any particular feature, or to keep supporting old versions of an operating system indefinitely. Where EU law requires us to supply updates needed to keep the software conforming to the contract for a set period, we will do so. See section 12.
6.4 Pixseer checks for updates on start, and shows a banner when one is available. Installing an update is always your choice: the app never installs one on its own. The in-app updater verifies its update artifacts against a cryptographic signature. Availability depends on the platform; the current Linux release is updated by installing a newer package from the download page.
6.5 Updates are governed by this agreement, unless an update comes with its own separate licence terms, in which case those terms apply to that update.
7. Third-party services, AI features, and your content
7.1 Pixseer is a local tool. Your images, prompts, notes, tags and settings stay on your computer. We have no server that stores them and we cannot see them.
7.2 Some features reach out to services you choose to use, for example looking up an image or model on a public site such as CivitAI, Pixiv or Hugging Face, downloading an optional on-device AI model, browsing your own machine over SSH, or sending an image or text to an AI backend you configured. When you use such a feature, that provider’s terms and privacy policy apply to that traffic, not ours. The full list of services the app can contact is in section 4 of the privacy policy.
7.3 AI backends are yours. Pixseer does not include an AI account or AI credits. You either run optional models on your own computer, or you point Pixseer at your own API key, your own local server, or an AI command-line tool you already have installed and pay for. Any cost, rate limit, content rule or account suspension from that provider is between you and them.
7.4 AI output comes with no promises. Tags, captions, prompts and translations are generated automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
7.5 You are responsible for the content you view, import, organise, generate or process with Pixseer, for having the rights to it, and for it being lawful where you are. We do not host, review or control third-party content, and Pixseer’s ability to read a site’s public data is not an endorsement of that site.
7.6 Pixseer can move, rename, copy and delete files on your computer when you ask it to. Keep backups. See section 10.
8. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our refund policy. In short: if Pixseer is not for you, write to support@pixseer.app within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it, no questions asked. Your statutory rights, if you have any, are on top of that and are described in section 12.
9. What you can expect from the software
9.1 We supply Pixseer with reasonable care and skill, and it will do substantially what our product page and documentation say it does at the time you buy.
9.2 To the extent the law allows, and except for the statutory rights described in section 12, the software is provided as is, and we do not give any other warranty, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that Pixseer will be free of bugs, that it will run uninterrupted, that it will read every file format or every site correctly, or that it will fit a purpose you have not told us about.
9.3 Pixseer depends on things outside our control: your operating system, third-party sites and their formats and terms, AI providers, and your hardware. If one of those changes or goes away, a feature that relies on it may stop working. We will do what is reasonable to adapt, but we cannot guarantee it.
10. Our liability
10.1 We are liable to you for loss we cause by breaking this agreement or by failing to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss that was not foreseeable, or that you could have avoided by reasonable steps such as keeping backups.
10.2 To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of or damage to data.
10.3 To the extent the law allows, our total liability under or in connection with this agreement is limited to the amount you actually paid for your Pixseer licence.
10.4 Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, sections 10.1 to 10.3 apply only so far as Czech and EU consumer law permits.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 Pixseer, its source code, its design, its name and its logo are owned by us or by our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws.
11.2 Open source components are used under their own licences, which prevail over this agreement for those components. A shortened form of the list is in the app under About, Open-source licenses. Copies of the individual licence texts are available on request.
11.3 Product names, logos and trademarks of other companies referred to by Pixseer belong to their owners. Pixseer is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
12. Your rights as a consumer
12.1 If you are a consumer, you have rights under Czech and EU law that this agreement cannot reduce, and nothing here should be read as trying to. Where this agreement conflicts with those rights, those rights win.
12.2 In particular, under EU rules on digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770, implemented in the Czech Civil Code) you are entitled to software that conforms to the contract, and to a remedy if it does not: repair, a price reduction, or termination with a refund. That right lasts at least two years from delivery for a one-off supply like this one. It applies alongside, not instead of, our 14-day refund promise.
12.3 We will also supply the updates you need to keep the software conforming to the contract for the period the law requires, and we will tell you about them in the app.
12.4 Section 13 explains your right of withdrawal and why it usually does not apply to an instantly delivered download.
12.5 If you are buying as a business, sections 12.2 and 12.3 do not apply to you.
13. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
13.1 EU consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery starts, provided you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right. The exception applies only when the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation have been provided for your purchase.
13.2 Whether the statutory withdrawal right has ended depends on how your purchase was completed. Our own 14-day refund promise in section 8 exists exactly because of that, and it is voluntary and independent of the statutory right.
13.3 If you believe the withdrawal right still applies to your purchase, tell us and we will not argue about the 14 days.
14. Term and termination
14.1 This agreement starts when you activate the software and runs until it is terminated.
14.2 You may terminate it at any time by deactivating your licence and deleting the software.
14.3 We may terminate it if you materially breach it, in particular section 4. Where the breach can be fixed, we will give you a reasonable chance to fix it first, unless the breach is deliberate circumvention or unlawful use.
14.4 If your purchase is refunded or charged back, the licence ends and the licence key stops working.
14.5 On termination you must stop using Pixseer and delete your copies. Your own files, images and exports are unaffected, and Pixseer does not delete them. Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 15 and 16 survive termination.
15. Governing law and where disputes go
15.1 This agreement is governed by the law of the Czech Republic.
15.2 If you are a consumer resident in another EU or EEA country, that choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. We may only sue you in the courts of your country of residence.
15.3 Otherwise, the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction.
15.4 Out-of-court dispute resolution. Czech consumers may take a consumer dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz). EU consumers may also find a relevant dispute-resolution body in the European Commission’s consumer redress directory. The former online dispute-resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025. Because Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for your purchase, complaints about payment, invoicing or tax should go to Lemon Squeezy first.
16. Other terms
16.1 Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement or your licence to anyone else. We may transfer it to a successor of our business, and if we do it will not reduce your rights.
16.2 Changes. We may change this agreement for future versions of the software or for future purchases. The version you accepted continues to govern the licence you already bought, except where a change is needed to comply with the law. We will publish changes on this page with a new date.
16.3 If part of this fails. If any provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
16.4 No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we do not lose the right to enforce it later.
16.5 Whole agreement. This agreement, together with the privacy policy and the refund policy, is the whole agreement between us about the software. It does not exclude liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
16.6 Language. The English version is the operative one. Any translation is for convenience, and if it conflicts with the English text the English text prevails, except where the law of your country requires otherwise. These documents are published in English only.
